Innoventive System Solutions Chief Executive Officer Derek Pike has over 20 years experience in management and corporate leadership. His career in the medical industry, from hospital department management, to top-level pharmaceutical corporate management, combined with successful management of non-profit associations led him to start his own company. 

His experience in strategic management, training, budgeting, forecasting, provides him the needed experience to successfully manage ISS as well as multiple associations. Mr. Pike has presented workshops to groups of medical professionals and at several Colleges of Pharmacy in Florida and Louisiana. In addition, he has spoken to several associations on the importance of volunteerism, professionalism, and mentorship. He is currently a Clinical Instructor for Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy, and on the University of Florida College of Pharmacy Advisory Board.

His resourcefulness and insight into association structure has provided past associations with new revenue creation in the form of innovative meetings and use of technology. His meetings have consistently made strong profits. Additionally, his revolutionary ideas and methods for electronic continuing education collection were presented at the poster presentation session during the 2002 ASHP (American Society of Health-System Pharmacists) Annual Meeting.  

His familiarity with continuing education requirements for medical professionals is solid, and he was the Administrator of a past associations ACPE (American Council on Pharmaceutical Education) program. Under his guidance, this association succeeded in attaining the highest level of accreditation approval available.
